Where was Comey keeping memos?

He's fired on the 9th. According to his testimony, he woke up on night after Trump tweet and suddenly remembered his memos that he then gave to Richman for leak to NYT.
This leaves a few possibilities:
1. Our FBI is completely inept and did not take Comey's computers or access away when he was fired.
2. Comey was allowed back into FBI facility to retrieve memos.
3. Comey had them saved on non FBI device. If this is the case, it shows he was planning on using them all along and discredits the testimony that they were suddenly remembered after tweet.
4. Comey had given them to friend in advance of being fired. In this event he perjured himself when he said he gave them to Richman after tweet.
5. Comey created them after the tweet.
In any of these scenarios, Comey did not tell complete truth or outright lied. These memos were not just something sitting around on FBI devices or FBI offices that Comey would have been able to get and leak after being fired.

So he made the whole thing up..... and the best story the former director of the FBI could come up with is " I hope you'll let the Flynn thing go...."

Don't know where he kept them, but the reporting has been that they were created contemporaneously. It's also reported that he told 5 deputies at the FBI shortly after having been asked to back off Flynn. Feinstein has already asked for the Senate judicial committee to seek confirmation from them.

Question: is it really that hard to believe an NY real estate guy who is a master of marketing...a reality tv show host who runs the miss universe pageants....a former casino owner and guy who disguises his voice to impersonate a PR guy to talks to tabloids about all the poon he sleighs..... is it that hard to believe this guy would stretch the truth?
