Thinking back....it seems to me they came in during Trumps re-election campaign in 2019. There were events - like desantis - that cause tribal uprisings, but to me it was 2019.

i dont agree with Trump's pandemic spending. but actions taken in summer of 2020 when there was still an amount of uncertainty surrounding the virus is a lot different than pandemic spending in 2021, 2022, and beyond. it's just not the same thing, no matter how much you hate Trump.
i completely disagreed with the stimulus payments. 100%. but he was facing ENORMOUS pressure from all sides and trying to make sense of it all. i think he made a number of bad decisions, but i also think they were good faith decisions. i think Biden's decisions are made with the specific intention of damaging the country and punishing his enemies. i do not believe the same for Donald Trump.
