Probably because we should be taking care of the one planet God gave to us to live on. Is that such a bad thing really?

I too believe we need to be good stewards of this planet but I'm 100% sure there's a common sense place to be regarding the environment; Dems want all humans dead so they don't pollute & the Reps are at the other end of the spectrum......neither is correct.

These "new wave" Prog/Dims are so unhinged they don't understand that just providing them with the modern conveniences of the 21st century actually creates more pollution than clean burning coal plants that they have been programmed to fixate on.

Probably right around the same time they found the dead intern in his office.

Guilty as charged, i rekkon.

I'm watching reruns of Moon Shiners, Swamp People, Gold Rush and Pawn Stars

Of the above, I used to watch Pawn Stars because they had some interesting historical commentary from their 'experts' pretty often. But they lost me when they started having some random "theme for the day" scripting and began plugging the fat lazy guy too much. Haven't watched in at least 3 years, maybe more.

It's all good. I am trying to wean myself off the 'constant-politics all the time" mode I fell into over the past year.

I recently switched to Direct TV and the AHCH is a great channel, watched the American Revolution series 2 weeks ago along with a Civil War mini series, actually watching AHCH (channel 287) right now watching "Gunslingers" Jesse James: The South's Last Rebel.

When Mika's hoo-hoo started smelling like the polluted Ohio River.

The more relevant question is, when did he become a total sell-out? This is a guy who would've been a Tea Party activist back in the 90's if the movement had been around then. But, a combination of NBC money, fame, rubbing shoulders with people like Bloomberg, and perhaps throwing some left-wing pussy into the mix as well, has all combined to make him the complete sell-out that he has become.

He's a damn embarrassment to conservatism. I have no absolute proof or knowledge of Joe and Mika's relationship but if I was a betting man I would say Joe was sucked in by Mika's swirling vortex of poon.

There's no such thing as clean burning coal plants. And progressives aren't fixating on coal plants in particular, they want clean electricity generated by any possible means. It's the coal industry and populist right-wingers like Trump who are focusing on coal.

It's all relative when defining clean burning coal. If one were to compare coal plants that were operating 30-40 yrs ago to today's coal fired plants one would find today's coal plants put out significantly less pollution.

Environmentally friendly energy sources will eventually replace fossil/carbon based and nuclear fission sources but until the price point of alternative energy drops low enough to make nuclear and coal fired plants obsolete we have no choice but to use these fossil/carbon and nuclear based sources so energy can remain affordable for society. It's called living in reality. Here's hoping alternative energy sources replace fossil/carbon and nuclear fission sooner rather than later.
