He really means, "I hope it's not revealed how we used illegal means to spy on American citizens."

You know what?
If anything gets compromised, it's because he and his fellow coup conspirators set all of this in motion.

Does he mean those "sources and methods" the FBI used to thwart 911?...oh wait. must be the ones that shut down the Tsarnaev brothers...no, the Orlando shooter?...that ended in a fail. If you’re abusing the system, that needs to be rooted out, revealed and steps need to be taken to ensure that it never happens again. If that means prosecutions and embarrassing so-called “allies” then so be it.
And the fricks perpetrating it all need to be grateful that prosecutions and possible jail time are the only potential consequences. In the time of the Founding Fathers, this shite would’ve been dealt with by means of public hanging in the town squares.
