It still makes me laugh almost 3 years later that evangelicals overwhelmingly voted for an unabashed atheist.

Really, the first one who doesn't even feel the need to pretend about it.

I guess he's tried to pretend a few times, but I think even he realized he's so bad at it, best to just leave well enough alone and just not bring it up.

Because on policy issues, the alternative was worse

I think Rand Paul would dominate with college degree holders.

He didn't dominate with anybody in 2016. He even lost self-described libertarians in the primary.

it was a lifeless, disappointing campaign.

If you ever watch the Vietnamese channel it is mostly anti republican propaganda. Which is mind blowing since not long ago they had that whole war thingy over communism.

Richard Nixon is not the most popular person in Vietnam. In China it is a totally different story though

This thread has me wondering

Why the huge swing to the dems in 2000 for Asian voters?

Bush ran as a compassionate conservative.

Clinton lost Asians twice: 92 and 96

You’d think bush would have won Asians

I think the strong evangelical push by the Bush campaign in 2000 had a lot to do with it

Chinese and Vietnamese seem to be a little bit less college educated than Indians

Seem to be? How scientific

Turns out you're wrong by a pretty wide margin if you do some research

Koreans and Chinese Americans have bachelors degrees in the 55% range where Indians are closer to 33%
