Over the past 30-40 years millions of blue collar working class Americans, particularly Americans over age 50 have left the Democrat party and they have upset the order in the Old Guard Republican Party, a Republican Party that use to be the party of business, a party of the white collar college educated types, the party of foreign intervention, the party of the US Chamber of Commerce, the party that facilitated illegal immigration, etc.

As a former Democrat of the 70's/80's I can tell you first hand that all my family, extended family and friends came from blue collar/union working class demographic, nearly everyone one of us are America First now. I flipped from Democrat to Republican in 1990 and I understood the Democrat party was morphing into a party of freaks and victims of white patriarchy oppression....frick that shite, I'm gone.

It took family and friends awhile to see what the Democrat party had become. When Trump arrived on the political scene family and friends who were still voting Dim finally saw how corrupt and divisive the Dim party had become and they too realized the party they grew up with was not that party anymore.

Guess what? Old school republicans are finding out their Republican Party is also not the party they remember from 30-40 years ago. There's a realignment happening in both parties and the party that has managed the realignment more effectively is the Dim party. The Dims have managed realignment more effectively because they have had a leg up in the information war via Mass Media, Academia and Hollywood/pop culture influences.

The Dim party is currently the alpha party, they have a lot of power because the cultural Marxists, which is what most Dims are have infested every major institution. The question is can a political party continue to exist and dominate when the party is built on a foundation of lies and deception? I personally believe the lack of solid principles and the rejection of the truth will eventually doom the Dim party but the worry is will the Dim party collapse before they destroy the nation? It's gonna be close.

So what's happened to the Republican Party?
We're in the throes of a political realignment.

The Republicans are somewhat divided ideologically, we're not political drones like the devotees of the Dim party are. We think independently, we agree on 80-90% of the political issues of our times but we are not lockstep like Dims are and that's our weakness when confronting a unified political ideology such as today's Dim party. The time is quickly approaching where every person who claims they're "conservative" will have to suck it up and deal with their petty political differences and coalesce with largely like minded people to defeat the Dims/Groomers and the D.C. Uniparty Globalists.

Republican Party is split a million different directions.

Primary three are Establishment, MAGA, Traditional Conservative.

All three on their own are general election losers, but that hasn’t stopped them from political attacks against each other at every opportunity.

To win a general, they’ll need a candidate that can bridge two of those three groups. Anyone that can big two of those three is likely to be liked enough among independents to actually win a general election.

A big reason the GOP is full of RINOs and marxist sympathizers, is exactly that many, many people who were Dems years ago have run across the aisle as they’ve realized what a freakshow the left has become.

The GOP is full of Democrats, and they’re eroding the platform.

Believe me, if the Old Guard/Country Club Republicans could get rid of the America First blue collar populists who have moved to the Republican Party they would.

Ive been in denial about this for years...but there isnt and has never really been a fiscally conservative GOP. You cant really roll things back, you must start over and whenever things get that bad again, start over again.

Uniparty globalists working behind the scenes to buy off or extort politicians on both sides of the aisle.

Most politicians in congress got there by making a deal with the uniparty devil.

"You get election funding and bribes and in exchange we get whatever bills we want passed and if you don't play along we'll cut your funding and use the skeletons in your closet to bury your arse".

What do you think Epstein Island is all about?

We did not take the pain of the oil shocks in the 70's and suffer the 80's to correct it. Instead we took on debt and pushed it all forward.

Pre 80's Republicans hated Commies, now they love them
Pre 80's Republicans were fiscally conservative, now they love debt and spending
Pre 80's Republicans were working class folks, now leadership is about Top 1% or 1% of 1%
Pre 80's Republicans were about strong military, now they want private police army

Because there aren’t enough votes to outpace the Dem Voting machine.

The establishment can win independents but it can’t win enough votes from the other two Republican groups.

MAGA can win some of the traditional conservative vote but can’t win the moderates and independents.

Traditional Conservatives struggle to win a primary in the current environment but seem to do well pulling independents and moderates.

Maybe access to the internet, technology and modern times is showing what was hidden before we had social media/all of the above?

You morons have ALWAYS been stuck in your archaic ways and expect things to change...

What's the definition of insanity again?

Hmmmm...

One thing I've noticed about the two parties that's different from the days of my youth can best be described using a football field.

The distance between the most liberal republicans and the most conservative republicans is about 70 yards.
The distance between the most liberal democrats and the most conservative democrats is about 30 yards.

This is one thing that makes the Dems look so much more unified. There used to be conservative Dems. Now there are just a few who are moderately left wing.

The biggest fish in the Democrat to Republican pond is Trump himself.

If choosing between

1) President will quietly progress policies of limited government, sovereignty and fiscal responsibility versus
2) President won’t accomplish much but will insult the hell out of liberals I hate

More people that I thought would prefer 1 really prefer 2

On is face, the Great majority of child molesters on that island were democrats, yet it appears that the great majority of pols who vote as if hey are compromised are republicans. Go figure

Those are the same people who fled California and moved to Colorado. They still vote blue and now Colorado is almost aligned with California.
