What’s even the pretext of why Biden is going to Israel?

I understand he won’t really be DOING anything there anymore than he does here.
I just don’t even understand what the pretext is as far as a purpose for this weird trip. What are they even telling us we are supposed to believe the purpose is here? It doesn’t make a lot of sense even if we crazily assume he’s got ANY capabilities at doing anything at this point. It’s completely nonsensical understanding his current state.
Anyone with an explanation that even sounds somewhat reasonable?

If that’s the standard, then all trips by any head of state are in the same boat. Almost all diplomatic foreign trips, really. We’ve had telephones for a long time now.
It’s a photo op, plain and simple.
The official line from the WH is going to be something along the lines of showing support to an ally and working to deescalate the situation.

He’s looking for nothing but PR/political payoffs.
His handlers are billing as a means to show support for the Jewish state amidst a humanitarian crisis.
It’s purely selfish; he’s fooling no one.

He’s going to delay the IDF Gaza invasion, so hamas can regroup.
The Tater and Jug Ears love Iran.
They can’t wait for them to get to get a nuclear weapon.

This administration realizes they funded this attack on Israel be removing sanctions on Iran. This is just their PR team trying their best to do damage control.

Also, I reject this idea. There are situations where face to face meetings can and will make sense. I just don’t get it in this instance under any possible reading of it.

He's buying time for HAMAS to arm up and inflict the most damage on the IDF before they invade.

Future business opportunities for Hunter?

I think we can agree we've seen a LOT of rot and confusion in people's minds over a VERY simple moral matter. Some of them need to be shocked back into coherence by the simple sight of the most powerful nation in the world actually doing the right thing.

Then we don’t need to be sending Biden

To plaster on the news amidst messaging on strong leadership or some such nonsense.

He’s going to try to catch a hezbolla rocket flying to Israel capital tomorrow ...
I wish him the best of luck.

I can’t believe the Secret Service is not raising hell over this exposure to obvious threats that they can’t control.

I hope Israel launches the ground attack fifteen minutes before AF1 lands.
