What was the last legitimately good thing Trump has done?

First off: I’m still going to vote for him if he gets the nomination, but seriously, it seems like it’s been ages since he’s done anything that made me proud that I voted for him before.
What has he done recently that would earn a social and fiscal conservative’s vote? His instincts have seemed way off for a few years now and I just don’t feel like I understand him anymore.

Every single day, he does not fold or back down to our numerous domestic enemies of the State.
Is that not good enough?
I HOPE that TRUMP will at least try to go scorched earth on our numerous domestic enemies of the State if given the chance.

Well he’s not exactly in a position currently to initiate any sort of action that would make shite happen.
Generally speaking, IMO the most genuinely well-intentioned thing he’s done of late is simply that he has at least temporarily forfeited a life of luxury and peace and serenity in exchange for the gauntlet he must negotiate each day. Why would he make such a seemingly lopsided trade off that doesn’t exactly net him any pleasant returns? Despite the pushback on this concept, I’d say Occam’s Razor would dictate that it’s because he is genuinely convinced that he has the right ideas and tools necessary to repair a deeply damaged country.

You're living in fantasy land because the truth is completely the opposite.

Trump is fundraising and holding events where people worship him. Between the money and naked adoration he’s in heaven, and if you let him do nothing but this and play gold until he died he’d probably take it.

Trips over his feet on stage and shites himself daily….oh wait.

I laugh that some people may seriously answer energy independence or border security. Not sure which is more comical.

Judges, all day long
Every other Repub prez has served up some waffling wusses that were too interested in their social status than our freedoms
W - John Roberts
Bush 1 - Souter
Reagan - Kennedy, O'Connor
Ford - Stevens
Nixon - Burger, Blackmun

His name is not Joe Biden so that’s literally every second of the day.

Yeah. But at least he's out there doing something about it unlike the rest of us keyboard warriors. Not going to knock the guy for that.

And you know how all these people say so often that he’s addicted to arse kissing and such? I’m trying to figure out how the choice to throw himself directly into the line of fire with all the ill will towards him goes together with a yearning for adoration and arse kissing? Plus, a billionaire going the route of running for President in a plot to profit off the situation?? I don’t know how anyone could make themselves believe all that.

I just know how a lot of this board is; if you question Trump they’re ready to call you a bot or whatever to attempt to discredit your opinion.
Trump was good, maybe even great for 3 years. Covid was the worst thing to happen to him, and I think he’s been grasping at straws ever since. I don’t doubt the election was stolen, but I think it has less to do with Dominion and more to do with mail in balloting being pushed by democrats.
Regardless, election theft is not a viable platform on which to run, so what is Trump offering now? Can he get back to the instinctive leadership of 2017-2019?

I know this isn’t necessarily the way to solve anything, but I think it’s necessary to calibrate the situation - you say you “know how a lot of this board is,” and go on to describe some responses you may get “if you question Trump.”
So let’s just set that aside for a moment and leave it unopposed. Now to the flip side, saying something unfavorable or unfriendly about Desantis, especially combined with some defense of Trump: Would you say the two scenarios are equal in nature, or response to shite talking one much more serious than the other??

And he is correct - I am continually disappointed that his persona is not of my liking, but then that may be asking for perfection
I'd venture there is no more dedicated patriot than him today - and if He were better we might have to capitalize Him.
He still pisses me off with his manner of campaigning. but perhaps that is what we have to endure to get someone so solely dedicated to saving the precepts of our nation.
We are facing an evil opponent - not the mental midget Biden = he is just the looney patsy the True Power has implanted to divert our attention from the true threats. So I don't expect perfection in the leader who can most effectively oppose them.
I know that Trump would do the right thing IF he had the chance. I worry that his tactic in getting there is going to turn off too many people for him to get that chance.
If only we could manage a Trump/DeSantis ticket, I think we'd have the best chance to prevail. Either of them would be a blessing
I just pray they dont destroy each other.
