Price’s plan would provide consumers tax credits to help them buy insurance coverage — everyone would get at least $1,200 a year, increasing with age, regardless of income. No one could be denied coverage by an insurance company as long as they maintain coverage — otherwise insurance companies could deny coverage or charge a significant penalty for entering the insurance market post-Obamacare, a point Democrats already strongly oppose. Health Savings Accounts would also be expanded.

WTF?

1200 a year? That is 100 dollars a month. That won't cover a lot of people. And pre-existing conditions, what is he thinking, how can people be denied coverage if they get something while between jobs?

it cost 10000 dollars per capita for healthcare in the US

let Price explain how their bullshite credits and Health Savings Accounts are going to cover a family of four making 80 grand.

Thats the first bullshite you are now hearing.

The 2nd is Preexisting conditions...yep you can have preexisting conditions but you are going in a high risk pool complete with all the caps and denial of service and premiums much higher than others...

more bullshite when insurance is supposed to spread the risk.

the 3rd, across state lines

Texas ranks 41st in coverage for kids, in Vermont almost all of them are covered by good policies....why would you allow someone in Vermont to buy a shite policy from Texas.

They have no plan, they are going to frick this up bigly.

Nope. $10k won't even buy you "insurance" these days.

how's it any different than shelling out $14k for "insurance" with a $8k deductible? The advantage of an HSA is if you don't use it, you carry it over. With "insurance" youend the year with nothing.

There will always be rationing. Get used to it.

nope. Redistribution of wealth isn't insurance.

Why would t you? It isn't the government's job to make "good" decisions for every citizen about heir finances.

When you define "success" as giving 300 million people something for nothing--you're absolutely right--no "plan" will ever be "successful". You can't bend the laws of math.
