I crack jokes and they know who I support and my views. I tell them not to worry about politics, just be a kid and I have their back in this crazy world.

My boys are 25, 20, and 17. I am open and honest with them about everything that’s going on. I bring the receipts so that they don’t think that their old man is crazy.

I explain the facts to them. Most kids 8-14 are fairly logical and what's going on sounds ridiculous to them. My 9 year old thinks it's ridiculous we buying oil from other countries when we can make it ourselves. I use that to make them ask why questions. Usually, it comes back to the people in charge are crooked and out for themselves.
I want them to know the people running our country are crooks, but let them figure it out on their own. Me just telling them doesn't work. Presenting the facts and letting them figure it out on their own is easy since the level of corruption is so blatant.

Ahh the good old “I’m better than you” powerman posts we’ve all come to know and love.
Your faux intellectualism and sense of superiority is entertaining. I’ll give you that.

My daughter wants to skip college and do real estate. I told her the real estate Market is about to crash, like everything else Obama engineers. “And it’s intentional”. And that’s her question: “but why would they intentionally sabotage things?”
Well, there’s an animal called a globalist …

Tell her to be an electrician or a plumber. Woman in a majority male profession. If she is willing to put in the time and get her journeyman status she can write her own ticket.
Speaking from experience from having to pay these required professionals...I can guarantee you she will make more money than all of our degreed asses. :)

My kids love putting I Did That stickers on the pumps at gas stations.

There’s money to be made in real estate, but I’d absolutely pair it with some kind of business degree.

My kids are teens and pre teens, so I talk about it all. Didn't want to, but they're being force fed this crap on a daily basis through the internet and other kids/teachers at school, so I'm hitting it head on.

My kids aren’t stupid. They know. Kids are extremely divided. In the 80’s we had cliques. Gen Z is pretty much left vs right. Alpha Generation is trending hard left with uncontrolled indoctrination. Media is already pursuing that homeschooling is a front for white supremacy. Buckle up baws that have kids.

You clearly did a wonderful job indoctrinating… Errr, “raising” … them.
Congratulations.

I see too many people think real estate is easy and anyone can do it. It isn't and she needs more than a high school diploma. Good luck with her, man.

The thing about having kids is that you are given the opportunity to raise them right rather than the government way. Whether you take that opportunity falls squarely on your own shoulders. Your jab about indoctrination, are you saying if you don’t resist the culture that you aren’t allowing them to be indoctrinated the loon way? It works both ways Ahank, and that is the parental prerogative

Honestly I don’t talk to them about this nonsense. Oldest is 12. I teach them right from wrong, pay for activities to keep them off electronics for most of the day, and try to set a good example. I am hopeful this insanity will pass like it did after the late 60s. Basically all the miserable Liberals will find some self destructive drug and fade off into the couch and leave us alone. Hoping that happens before I have to really educate my kids about what these people are trying to do to this country.

Agreed. The ‘sip was clearly successful in instilling certain “values” in his offspring.
They will doubtless serve her very well in the insular little bubble where he lives, and where she will probably choose to live as well.

Ahh, I see now. Just let them hear the bs lies from the media and the government and believe them. Gotcha.

Yes, they must conform and never have differing thoughts than what the state has deemed acceptable.

My 13 year old makes comments like "the government is probably behind it" when we're talking about bad things happening. Im raising a patriot

I'd recommend getting a 2 year degree in the electrical discipline instrumentation and go straight to a paper mill or power plant. Avoid anything that involves the state involvement in your ability to earn.

Even if it's not always the case, it's a healthy position to have of our system of government.
