They count all the mail in votes as they come in keeping an accurate tally . When Election Day comes all the mail votes are counted and logged . On Election Day they only count Election Day votes . It’s why they were done counting early and the results were delivered to we the people at an appropriate time . Other states count them all at once causing confusion and delays so democrats know how many they need to secure the WIN .

Sometimes you just run out of paper on election day.

That also helps to repress some of the dems favorite forms of fraud because they can't suddenly find cases of ballots to put them over the top after they find out how many they need to manufacture.

Basically, Florida law now makes any ballots after election day, void. It is the way it should be in ALL States.

I agree that this is the better system, especially with the expansion of both vote by mail and early voting.

However, the counter argument also has some merit. In particular, there is concern that the early tallies will be leaked/released and have some effect upon later voting.

No vote should count after election day.

There should be a 24 hour window to declare a winner.

So mail in voting can be safe and secure.

We need to push for Florida’s model across the country.

ES&S ballot counting machines.

They also use ES&S in Kentucky. In 2020, McConnell was down by 5 in the polls and won by 20.

So no results or projections should be released until after election day.

I like it.

They pay close attention and verify all signatures since they count right away. Plenty of time. Twice over the last 15-20 years I have been called in to prove it was me who signed. I had to show DL and cure the ballot ! It works here because they have it figured out and are adamant about verifying signatures

Impossible. It cannot be safe nor secure and should not be allowed.

In Florida it is public record how many people from each party have voted . I don’t think they they count the votes yet they just track them till Election Day . That way after 7pm on Election Day 100K mail in votes can’t be found to rig the election. The counties update the voter turn out on Election Day every 10 minutes.

I don't believe that mail in can be safe and secure. I think it allows for one of the easiest fraudulent voting schemes.

Florida has made mail in as secure as it can be, but it still shouldn't be allowed. Hell, even our military mail-in in Georgia has been intercepted and changed to "the right vote" when I think one base had 100% Biden mail in. smh

I do think we are going to have to start giving serial numbers to votes so they can be removed when proven fake.

Maybe, blockchain and NFT? The problem is how do you prevent bullying, peer pressure and paying for votes if there is a way to show who you voted for? Maybe, have it so you can go to a secure precinct location where only you can go in, then you can access your vote to verify that it wasn't changed?

On mailed in voting, losing or limiting particular zip codes from being introduced into the tally has worked very well in the past, especially in Oregon.
