How much more of an increase can you afford before you give have to give it up?

Because that day is fast approaching for some of us....

And I don't blame the POTUS...he tried.

Pssst premiums would probably go up faster under the AHCA.

It wasn't going to help you.

Won't be long since mine is basically a mortgage for a regular middle class home now.

HSA is the way to go if you're relatively healthy

Sure, if you have enough extra disposable income to fill it up enough to make it meaningful to use.

A lot of people don't.

Yup, he tried and tried. As Ryan said, he was "fantastic." Put in every possible effort he could. He had it wrapped up so early on that he was able to go play golf every weekend. Oh wait...shite...what happened?

Well HSA is an insurance plan with smaller premiums. If your employer doesn't make contributions, then you can throw in some change every paycheck. shite adds up. But yea, if you're barely making ends meet, maybe not the right plan.

Wife is retiring this year, so 300 or so a month more than now would possibly start to affect my lifestyle after she does.

Already there. $1,800 a month with the minimum subsidy. $21,600 a year.

May lose the subsidy, putting over $30,000 a year.

This is what frustrates me about this whole healthcare legislation debate.

All I want to know is if my $600 per month premium is going to go down.

I don't care about making health insurance available to more people. I want my premium to go down.

I don't care about lowering the cost of services. I want my premium to go down.

I don't care about operating across state lines. I want my premium to go down.

Etc... etc... etc... whatever, frickers... make my premium go down.

If it doesn't make my premium go down, I don't support it.

And I already know my premium will never go down again. My premium today is the cheapest it will ever be, moving forward.

Because no one has an interest in lowering my premiums, but me. Not the insurance companies, not the health care providers, not the subsidized masses who outnumber me, not the politicians.

Mine is about 46$ a month, of course subsidized by my employer. I wouldn't be happy if not goes over 60$.

Trump will learn, but he didn't do too well in his first rodeo.

He needs to get involved sooner in the process, and of course now he knows that Ryan doesn't know what he's doing, so he can't rely on Ryan's assessment as to what can be passed, especially if Ryan is driving the bus.
