Then Trump should immediately not use any raised funds or campaign funds to fund his legal bills. Right? When can we expect Trump to make this announcement?

If we are fortunate enough for him to win the republicans and democrats both will just obstruct away his second term as they had his first. His first was wasted with scam impeachment and hoax while he sat on his hands and let it play out. There is even more turmoil surrounding him now. This would be another wasted 4 years with both parties obstructing.
1. What exactly was he "obstructed" from doing during his first term? Seems to me he pretty much accomplished what he wanted to do—the stuff he said he would do but didn't is stuff he didn't even try to do or seem to have any intention of trying to do. I'm sure someone can come up with a few examples of failed policy attempts, but I'll be surprised if it amounts to anything unusual during a typical POTUS term.
2. With the federal legislative branch having become essentially nothing more than professional wrestling for politics for the public's entertainment, EOs, foreign policy, and judicial appointments are what influences the country's direction more than anything else during a modern POTUS term. Therefore, neither his first term nor his second were/would be "wasted." The border enforcement alone would be a signifiant change.
3. If anyone caves to Democrats attempting to stop something they don't want by making trouble, they guarantee trouble for the rest of all our lives. Just like violent terrorists; if you back down, you're guaranteed to get more of the same.

What is the point of Trump running? Honestly?
The answer to any "why?" question concerning Trump is always, "It's all about Trump."

Now y'all are acting like the idiot populists.
More than one thing can be true at once.
Trump was running regardless of anything. His ego cannot stand being beaten.
Is he grifting for his own gain? Sure.
Is that why he ran?
Of course not.

Alternatively though I don’t have a pathway or solution for a better America
History is a great teacher. I believe there is a solution for a better America but unfortunately there is a significant number of people who refuse to accept it. Instead of learning from the lessons of the past, embracing those lessons and making them their own, they're embracing a pathway that is doomed to certain failure.
So what are the lessons of the past? We begin by reflecting on the ordeal experienced by the pilgrims who arrived at Plymouth Rock and established Jamestown. Had they stayed with their original socialist progressive governing model they would all have starved to death. More out of desperation than anything, they abandoned the socialist model and adopted a capitalist model which included parceling out sections of land. This enabled the landowners to grow vegitables, chickens, hogs and other meat producing animal and.....(horror upon horrors)....sell their produce for a profit. This practice, which is cursed by socialist, is defined as: pursuing your self-interest. Our nation formerly known as The United States of America (hint: we're no longer united) became a great economic, social, and military power using the Capitalist Model. A model that our ancestors (including those brave Jamestown immigrants) gave us.
And very important, in thanksgiving to God they gathered with their native tribe friends to give thanks to God for their good fortune. Thus was established the first Thanksgiving (To God) Celebration.
Unfortunately today a significant portion of the American population has abandoned Christianity and have embraced insanity (as in the Culture of Death). The are now in the process of taking a giant step backward. Ultimately we will all be reduced to forging in garbage cans (as we fight our neighbors) for the last scrap of food. To which our Venezuelan friends nod in agreement.
To which I quote a great mind.....
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results” – Albert Einstein
What a mess.

He can go scorched earth, now that he knows he doesn't need to worry about getting reelected.
He doesn't have to use any restraint whatsoever. The left can complain about the threat to Democracy until the cows come home. Won't matter.

Clearly not. If that were true then there wouldn’t be the current obstacle with the appeal bond matter.

He should have gone scorched earth in his first term. No excuses for not doing so.
