See this proves you do not understand. The second amendment was not so you could protect your home from criminals. The second amendment was put in the constitution so that people could go hunting. It is there so that the federal and state governments will not be able to treat its citizens as slaves and get away with it.

It's not going to play well here, but I'd like a psych evaluation to be part of the process. Of course mental healthcare is a joke these days so it probably wouldn't do much good.

Therein lies the problem. It's a loop. At the end of the day I don't want you (the government) to have more firepower than me. Now if I had all of your awesome stuff I'd just shoot animals and inanimate objects and you'd never think of me.

But because in a free society, I don't have more of a right to an automatic weapon than a psycho or tPOS. But because they do, you need to protect yourself with stronger weaponry. Now I want stronger weaponry to counter if the government overreaches. And you know it does.

ETA: not directed at you in particular. Just the Gov as a whole.
