What is the endgame for this regime?Posted by beulahland on 9/19/13 at 12:05 pm
What are Obama, his handlers and the Dem/Republicans trying to accomplish? Open borders, out of control taxation, the welfare state, scandals, ect. Are these the acts that make a country strong. What are their ultimate goals?

They are trying to accomplish what they are being told to accomplish...growing the Federal Government's and their own party power. The Dems have learned how to buy votes (social programs) and now they have groomed a leader that no one can call out. It truly is a great plan

If you can get your hands on this book, which was written in 1940, it will explain a lot. It is very prescient, and accounts for why, in the end, there is not much difference between Repubs and Dems at all.

Doesn't really matter what their endgame is, as long as they cannot achieve it. And they cannot, UNLESS the House GOP blows the 2014 elections, which seems very unlikely.
Just compare the Obama of the first two years with the Obama post-January 2011. He is not a happy camper and he has lost much of his 2009-2010 swagger. Having a Republican House drives him absolutely crazy. The frustration is eating him up and it shows. He is throwing all his remaining eggs in one basket, and that basket is somehow winning back the House in 2014 and then cramming through an endless stream of big-government legislation.
The best strategy for the Republican House is not to do something stupid before November, 2014, just to make noise. Even with redistricting, anything is possible.
Right now Obama is for all intents and purposes as lame a duck as you will find. But a GOP overreach in the next 13 months that gives the House back to Pelosi would mean Obama gets everything he wants for two full years. He'll be signing spending bills right through the holidays in 2016.
It's all contingent on Republicans retaining the House in 2014, which was a sure thing before this absurd shut-down-the-government movement began a few weeks ago. That is the ONLY thing that can give Obama his power back.

Growing government to create a permanent political majority. The end goal is to create a government powerful enough at identifying, indicting, and disqualifying its enemies that the political machine rendered will be forever self-perpetuating. There will be a built in 51% of the nanny state that will forever keep it in power.
