What geographical region should determine whether you are a minority?

Local, county, regional, state, national, continent, planet, solar system, galaxy, universe.
There are plenty of cities and counties that are in solid control of various ethnic groups, whether they are black, hispanic, arab, asian, etc.
At what point do they control their own destiny?

I just don't get the obsession with the race obsession on this board.
So the liberals are obsessed with race, so what? Their obsession has very little bearing on my life, as I suspect it has on most on here.

That is an interesting question.
I have lived my whole life in predominantly AA cities, but have never felt that an opportunity was unavailable to me due to my race, despite being in the minority. Unless if you count nobody wanting me on their pick up basketball team at the Y.
I did choose to leave New Orleans because I felt my interests were not being met, but it was not racially motivated.

Race doesn't affect my life at all. I have never experienced a single race-related incident.
Talking about abstract or interesting things on a message boards does not mean you are obsessed with something.
I am 100 percent for a colorblind society and I think the whole concept of race is silly.

technically white people are one of the smallest MINORITIES on the planet..... less than 10% of the world.
For reference, that is a smaller percentage than blacks in America.
Yet despite being a global minority,, whitey seems to still be able to accomplish shite....

it is not the skin color that determines the individual, so no one should be judged by it.
Culture, however, sadly does shape the individual. It is not racism per se that is ruining our country, but certain cultures and sub-cultures.

I'm not even talking about race, I'm talking about the seeming obsession liberals have with it. This board seems to be obsessed with their obsession.
