What Did Trump Know, and When Did He Know It?

During Watergate, the question everyone wanted answered was: "What did Nixon know, and when did he know it?"
The question in 2017 is: What Did Trump Know, and When Did He Know It?
Flynn contacted the Russian ambassador several times the day Obama's sanctions were announced. Is it likely or unlikely that, the day that the calls were made, Trump knew the calls were going to be made or that they had been made?
Even if Trump didn't know about the calls at the time they were made, and afterwards knew that Flynn had made the calls and then lied to VP Pence about the calls, why did Trump mostly just ignore the situation and then go ahead with the swearing in of Flynn as National Security Adviser?
Anyone have any insightful comments?

Yes, Trump is a patsy.
He's getting a political train run on him by his best people while he yucks it up every weekend in Mar-a-Largo.

Probably not, unless someone here is way more in the know than I give any of you frickers credit for.
If, in fact, Trump knew and colluded with Flynn and possibly Russian associates, then he ought to be subject to the fullest investigation possible.

Because all he does is for special interests of other people. People wanted him "to drain the swamp" yet he brought in all the billionaires people claimed Hillary was going to appoint to cabinet. Who knows what else he is lying about, he obviously has some sort of special interest in Russia. The FBI and NSA know something but its yet to come out, so we'll see. He's lied almost every day in office, this is just another one that people seem to shrug off for some reason.

That's what it looks like right now.

I'm finding it hard to give a damn, knowing that Hillary would've had us in a war with Russia by now.

You must have missed the last paragraph of the post.

For whom? Other than folks in energy, I'm having a hard time discerning what monied interests are jumping with glee at his actions so far.

You can listen to his greatest detractors and apologists on either side, but the fact is, this isn't over.

Both are irrelevant. Flynn lied. No laws were broken.

I think Trump told him to make the call. Why would Flynn initiate that on his own. Exciting days ahead for sure!

Goodness, your idiocy knows no bounds.

Half of his cabinet are CEOs that are gaining from the regulations that he is pushing to get rid of. Are you really just going to ignore that because you voted for the guy? You seriously think getting rid of regulations on Russia is because Russia has become the good guys now? Did you forget they fricking invaded another country just over a year ago? Come on guys

Flynn has been closely "involved" with russia for years.
It's not surprising.
