Not much of a chance, there is too much money in it for lawyers.
Illegal weed is better than a chain of gold mines. You don't even have to use a pick or shovel.

Under Trump/Sessions...0%.

They are hell bent on the thought that it is the devils work.

They won't even study it, let alone legalize it.

PD's get mucho $$$ in federal government grants to fight the war on drugs, so by and far they will resist it, as will the legislators who want to be "pro law enforcement."

I mean, what would Smallville, USA Police Department do without its armored personnel carrier?

Sure it is too much support has shifted to wanting it. Politics lags with change but support can't be ignored so eventually yes

5 years at the least. This administration won't do it need to get a president in office who has it as part of his platform first.

Not happening under this administration. Not gonna happen folks, President Trump doesn't even drink let alone smoke doobies. He thinks it clouds the mind and judgement. He's probably right but that's another argument. That being said I would love to be able to "puff the magic dragon" legally every now and then. MERICA!!!!!!!!!

They should have done this years ago. When meth is in a lesser category than weed, something is really wrong.

Even if the Feds reschedule it, which I think will happen in less than 10 years. The states individually would have to decriminalize it.

Putting it on their platform in 2018 would score alot of points for midterms.

Zero. Police and lawyers making too much money. Police would lose a lot of jail jobs because most parish/county inmates are there on drug charges

Hopefully 0. If they legalize it I'll probably get into the home alarm business

Im not holding my breath. But i could see a scenario (post jeff sessions) where he legalizes or decriminalizes the devils lettuce. Could just be wishful thinking on my part.

I hope so, but let the states decide. Want to see people move away when the last remaining states are still trying to put people in jail for it? Sessions is hanging his hat against a lot of people on this and it is making him look like a dolt.
