Seems like the same could be said about you if you think that guy has the country’s best interests in mind.

You are exactly right. The incessant whining and moaning from the “Desantis over Trump” crowd is so bizarre to me for many reasons.

1) Trump IS the movement, we wouldnt be here without him or the judges he appointed, that is quite clear after today eapecially

2)Trump and Desantis are on the same team, 4 more years of Trump and then 8 years of Desantis is the most ideal outcome.

3) Was the election stolen or not? If so, then you are damn right I want the man who SHOULD BE in there now, to be in there again. Also, if you think it was stolen then that means Trump actually was the most popular President ever, which we already know.

I worked for him long ago. Brilliant and very charismatic for a Wall Street CEO. JPM essentially purchased BankOne to get him.

But he’s dyed in the wool Wall Street. It’s all he cares about, and he’d be ambivalent or driven by idealism on most issues outside of markets. He always gets his way so he’d likely be horrible at dealing with the snakes in federal government or foreign leaders like Tillerson was. I also don’t think he’d risk him image to make the unpopular decisions required to fix anything the way Trump did either. He’s the best in the world at what he does and he should stay there.

We all know that answer even if the Trump cultists won’t admit it.

How did Trump hurt your feelings? Could you maybe show us the tweet so we can make up our minds on how much of a bitch you really are.

That’s a fair assessment. I’ve been impressed with what he’s done at JPM and I have no idea if he’d want to get into politics, but I think he would make a good chief executive of the country if he wanted to do it. He’s been a fantastic chief executive of one of the largest and most influential banks in the world. He’d just get nukes and have to talk on TV more often with this new job.

Idiotic Democrats think that skinny Kenyan was wonderful.

They hate the idea of America first as much as he did.

First, we need a good Congress as well, which we do not have. We need serious reforms of the Legislative Branch such as term limits, lobbying restrictions, campaign finance reform, strict insider trading laws, etc. Second, we had a good bordering on great President which is why the establishment ganged up and got rid of him. Though he was effective in the Executive Branch it is only one part of our government and that needs to be understood. Reforming the Legislative Branch back to what it is supposed to do which is create laws and stop punting or allowing the Executive Branch to pass Legislation through EOs would go a long way into solving many problems. Look at the shite for brains President we have now, he has been in Washington for the last 50 years. A Senator for 30 something years and is part of the reason our Government does not function as intended. Third, same applies for the Supreme Court. We need time and age limits. Sadly, we have a few retards that occupy the bench at the moment, Sotomayor is a national embarrassment.

Or Trump. The only 3 in the GOP I would vote for is Trump, DeSantis, or Paul. If the GOP tries to shove some Uniparty Establishment Neo Con down our throat which I have a feeling that Mitten's niece is going to try with rule changes to the GOP Primary like they did with Ron Paul than I am out.

You mean the man who kept his promises like no other president I've ever seen?

You won't find much better.

I think that you vastly underestimate the power of the media.

90% of what you "believe" about Trump is a direct result of how he was covered. You people seem to have short memories. These same assholes used to portray Romney as a borderline Nazi and if he'd have won, they'd have gone ALL IN on that.

If you don't think they'll portray Desantis the same way should be be nominated, you're crazy.

And the part you guys don't get is that it puts the person in the crosshairs in the position of either coming out swinging, or "taking the high road".

Welp, how did the high road work out for Romney or McCain?

I'm a HUGE Desantis fan. But, the reality is, if nominated, inside of 6 months, the coverage of him will look exactly like the coverage of Trump and talking to a liberal about him, it'll be like you traveled back in time!
