We are never going to be equal.

Because we're not supposed to be equal.
I am good at painting the large, unbroken walls in my house. My wife is better at painting around windows and doors.
The average black person is faster than the average white person.
The average Chinese person us smaller than the average White person.
Women are better organizers than men.
Gay people are typically more imaginative than straight people.
Mexican people are harder workers.
Just because I'm rich, and you live across the street, doesn't mean you should be rich too. If you want more, go get it.
We should stop teaching equality. We were not made to be cookie cutters of each other.

But we can all have equal outcomes through government help. Just trust them.

Some demos want something for nothing.

American is strong because we are all different.

Your beliefs are based on stereotypes

Equality is sooooo passe, baw. It's equity now. For now. Then something else. I mean equity already doesn't actually mean equity, so I dunno.

They're not beliefs. They're opinions or stereotypes. But who cares.

Somewhere along the lines we allowed the idea of equal opportunity to get muddled with the idea of everyone BEING equal.
Hence, equity.
Best way to explain equity...remember playing pickup games of basketball and "spotting" a player or team points because you both knew they were not as good and it was the only way they would play against you?
Those pushing equity treat blacks and Hispanics the same way I treated unathletic neighborhood kids that I wanted to play a game of 21 against. The difference being that the neighborhood kid KNEW he sucked and kind of felt bad for needing the spot but we both made a game out of it so we got over it. The majority of blacks and Hispanics don't seem to grasp this core concept...that needing equity is openly admitting you're not as good. It's why the idea is absolutely insulting to normal black and Hispanic people who don't feel that way.

And some are content to have nothing so long as the government makes sure that nobody else has anything either.

Opportunity not outcomes.
Merit not diversity

I can only give you 1 upvote.

Well, the black women I see at Wal-Mart are faster because they're riding all the scooty poofs.

They are better with colors and design but not organization. Have you ever looked inside a woman's purse?

In America, yes. But not in Mexico.
The real reason we know that people will never be equal is because people have never been equal anywhere, anytime in the last 5 million years.

This has always been the goal.
They've NEVER wanted equality.
What they want is equal results.
They've NEVER wanted equality.
What they want is equal results.
