in the face of abhorrent behavior by the Germans in the 30's and 40's remaining silent and doing nothing about seriously wrong acts. Why has this comparison not been made of the Hollywood people doing the same in the case of Weinstein?

You are seriously going to compare Germany to Weinstein?

No, the people who refused to come out to expose Weinstein for 3 decades should be compared to the Germans who were silent during the Holocaust. The germans were excoriated, but those who knew about Weinstein are getting a pass by most of the media.

I am not really sure how to stand on this topic. On one side I understand how humiliating it could be to speak up about the things Weinstein did. On the other hand they are all two faced who projected their feeling of victimhood on the opposite political party, doubling down on their own gains.

Now they are all so "strong" to come forward and "me too". Make no mistake, those that didn't speak up got something out of it whether it be a settlement or a role. They then transformed it into a "war against women" from the right.

My feels are minimal but jumping to the Nazi comparison is stretching.
