Politics is truly all about who is working behind the scenes preying on the ignorance of the masses. Liberals are blind fools. That's what you get when you mix uber family influence with ignorant masses.

In the case of the Kennedy's, the kids did really pay for the sins of the father. Ol Joe made a fortune with illegal booze and the mob but had to watch as 2 of his sons were gunned down in public and a third publicly disgrace himself by letting that woman drown because he was too drunk.

Obviously we do. Because Senator Ted Kennedy asked this question on the Senate floor in 1973 during Nixon's Watergate Scandal.
Notice this is about 4 years after he had a 7 minute court case where he managed to avoid the statutory minimums for sentencing for the crime he pled guilty. Also, this is after he didn't report the crime for 9-10 hours, managed to avoid all mention of alcohol consumption during the day and the fact that there was a party that night, and the missing hour between when he supposedly left and when the car was last seen.
Hell Lindsey Lohan spending just a few hours in jail for her DUI/coke case seems pretty tame in comparison.
