They need to say the words outloud that Obam won on hope and change as the outsider and was really a progressive.

Exactly.

Additionally, Obama was likable; far more likable than either of his opponents in McCain or Romney.

Clinton was not likable in '92, '00, '08 or '16. If you run an unlikable candidate, you better make sure you have a bulletproof message and very little scandal, neither of which was the case.

IMO, the election was over in Trump's favor when Clinton had her fainting episode on 9/11.

only if Clinton were the opponent. the super delegates picked her over Sanders.

The DNC picked her over Bernie, too. Let's not forget that.
She had every single advantage in the race.
The media.
The DNC.
her husband, who was one of the Dems favorite Presidents.
The GOP working against Trump. (Split party)

And she still couldn't win.

All along, Sanders did much better than Clinton in head to head polling vs Trump.
He was up 9% compared to her 4%, at the time she was selected by the Supers.
That 4% wilted in the last few weeks of the campaign. She was up 2% right before Comey told Congress there might be something NEW in the emails on Carlos Danger's PC.

So, in your opinion...why did the DNC conspire to make her their candidate instead of Sanders?

it was decided on the day the 2008 primary concluded...
