One way we could reinforce the wall is to dump all our trash on the Mexican side. Mexico would probably be ok with this because they could research our garbage and copy our miraculous technology

Surely to god the technology exists to install sensors at the boarder that initiate drones to track the targets. To alleviate false alarms, the drones could have heat signature capability to ensure it isn't wildlife before triggering boarder patrol. I mean a physical wall across the boarder seems to disregard technological advances, especially considering a physical barrier can easily be overcome with a little thought put into it.
Point blank, a physical wall is a colossal waste of money that will have little to no impact on stopping those that want to come across - especially criminals.
