Maybe Ron understands that quite frankly he would not be Governor of Florida but for Trump's endorsement of him at the most opportune time during the FL primary race, and is genuinely appreciative of that, thus stands by Trump's side. And additionally that to shun, ignore or avoid the most prominent and popular Republican political personality in this country wouldn't quite be the most prudent move at this stage in his career.

Spot on, wise words. That doesn't mean folks shouldn't actively participate in the primary process, but once the nominee is set, it's then time to circle those wagons, just as you said. But I hate to say it, the Left's operations to drive wedges throughout the Right has so far been rather effective. Hopefully the folks who are thus far falling for it will recognize it and correct the course very, very soon.
