Wow. Just wow.
When most politicians speak, all I hear "blah, blah, blah".

The behavior of the so-called journalists was by far the most important aspect of the video IMO.
Your take on the video was that it could be summed up with the sentence "Politician has hissy fit."
You and I took away VERY different things from watching the video.

I'm sure that reporter made his 18th century lesbian poetry professor proud

I enjoyed it. I admit a dislike for politicians though.

There aren't many professions that I respect less that politicians, but the media is one. The media doesn't even consists of people with a journalism degree any more. It is made up of bloggers, ex-politicians, ex-celebrities, and ex-athletes. Why would a conservative candidate even want the endorsement of liberal rag in the first place Is beyond. The whole practice of endorsements is stupid. Do I really care what newspaper or what politician endorses a candidate? No, because I have a brain that allows me to make my own decisions.

You are so edgy and cool!

I'm not sure what I wrote in the post that you responded to that even tried to be edgy or cool. If it's edgy or cool to tune out bureaucratic whining, then I guess I'm edgy and cool.
What happened here? A politician running for an office where he will have an insane amount of control over people's lives gets upset because of notes that someone else is writing so someone else can do someone else's job. It harms the politician in no way. However, it is not something the politician likes or can control. So what does the politician do when confronted with something he doesn't like? He feels insulted and feels like he is losing control of the situation because God forbid the politician doesn't have control over something as trivial as someone else's notes. So what does he do when he doesn't have total control? He throws a whiny hissy fit.
This thread was started with the hopes that other posters would watch the video and twist his pathetic hissy fit into some heroic moral stand against the press. Well, it's not a heroic stand. It's a pitiful bureaucrat's response to not having total control over something. And people are going to vote for this guy to take control of their lives and the lives of others.

Refreshing to see that keepers of the media have come out from under the rock and shown their true colors.
Would anyone else have been upset, that during a question and answer session, reporters were writing down stupid childish remarks, I think so. And then to counter with a question about the Easter bunny? Really?

Can't believe that guy had the gall to say "that's two strikes." It's this type of elitism from the left that ruins political discourse. Nasty, demeaning, aloof, uncivil.

The very reason he's there is to seek an endorsement. When he sees that the ones giving the endorsement are being aloof and dishonest, he calls them out on it.
That renders the endorsement meaningless. I would feel like the public, as well as the other candidates, would want to know if an endorsement from a media outlet has any merit or not.

I don't disagree there.

G, I like you but this is complete and utter horse shite and couldn't be possibly further from reality as it is.

The reality is that few people know what the term "respect" means anymore.

LOL,esp. if that was a paper in print. No one reads print anymore, and they don't have much power, anymore...and I see why...

The thread was started to show what incredible pieces of shite those journalists were. Period. End of story.
