Valerie Plame Wilson Sets Up GoFundMe to buy Twitter and ban President Trump

Valerie Plame Wilson's on a mission to get President Trump off Twitter.
How?
By buying it, of course.
Wilson — best known for being revealed as a CIA operative because of a leak during the George W. Bush administration — has started a GoFundMe page to buy a controlling interest in Twitter, in order to delete the president's account. The company is currently worth nearly $12 billion, with its shares going for around $16.
"Donald Trump has done a lot of horrible things on Twitter. From emboldening white supremacists to promoting violence against journalists, his tweets damage the country and put people in harm's way," Wilson wrote on the campaign's page "But threatening actual nuclear war with North Korea takes it to a dangerous new level."

The goal: $1 billion. That might be a stretch, though. Wilson has raised more than $3,000 since she launched the campaign on August 16.
"At the current market rate that would require over a billion dollars — but that's a small price to pay to take away Trump's most powerful megaphone and prevent a horrific nuclear war," Plame wrote.

I'm curious. What happens to the money if she doesn't reach the goal?

please give me some money so I can buy something...it's a business and i'm not concerned with profitability and sustainability. I don't know anything about what i'm buying, there's just a guy on there I don't like.

I hope she reaches her goal and I hope she bans him. Then we can all move to a different social media platform and bankrupt the company.

This might be the craziest 'resistance' idea yet. And there have been plenty.

They think that shutting opposing viewpoints down is moral. It's the antithesis of moral. Anyone to the right of Mao is a Nazi to them.

it's getting hard keeping track of the liberal talking points amidst mass trump hysteria

Talk about a lot of wasted money (she won't get it anyway). Even if Trump was banned from Twitter, it wouldn't stop him. He'd set up a youtube channel, post on facebook, or just resort to using the White House's own website. He would get on TV more often and probably engage in more rallies. On top of all of that, it would come across as a petty attack against the President by the left and would embolden Trump's supporters, nudge Independents back on Trump's side, and leave a sour taste in the mouths of many on the left that value free speech.
To use a word that the MSM was over-using last night, the left is "unhinged".

See, liberals just don't think like this. If Trump were banned from Twitter, he'd find a new platform as would his supporters, and the market would destroy Twitter.
Liberals are just used to suing anyone who doesn't want their business and forcing them to work for them.
