USA Today poll on Obamacare:
11% keep it
42% fix it with major changes
44% repeal

How dumb are the Republicans? I mean really?

To answer your question, they are pretty fricking dumb.

Even staunch conservatives like Cruz and Paul are getting bombarded at town halls because people were promised a repeal and we're not getting one.

Trump already has. He is playing along to let the establishment shills out themselves and will hopefully primary all those shitheads. Once they are cleaned out real change can begin.

Only the first part of the GOP takeover is done. The next part takes a lot more effort and time as there are a LOT of establishment traitors that have got to go.

are we talking about the Grahams and McCains of the world?

dumb is not the word - feckless liars that are working hard to preserve their own power despite what is right for the country - men (and women) who lied during campaigns

let's call them unscrupulous scoundrels - what is hilarious is that THEY are exactly what they accuse Trump of being...

also - we may be better off for the 18 elections without passing a health care bill

we have been winning elections on this issue since it passed

my guess is we get 60 in the Senate and keep the House in 18 - we MAY even get more freedom caucus types

I truly believe this is a winner of an issue for us in the midterms - has been for just under a decade

these numbers prove we are on the winning side of this at the ballot box (this poll plus every election since it has been passed)

The Republicans aren't getting out of bed with insurance companies. That swamp is too deep.

So you're chart is basically saying 53% like it 42% don't

The way you had it worded it in your original 1st post is misleading

What plan reduces overall costs?

No republicans address the prices being charged.

Congress persons don't write legislation. Lobbyists do. That's why we get legislation that helps lobbyists' clients and not the American people. This country is for sale and the American people don't have the resources to out bid multinationals, big banks, big insurance, pharmaceuticals, defense contractors, NGOs, etc. That is the problem.

I don't know what to do about it.

Even after trump showed them how to win, republicans are constantly trying to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. It's no wonder they have failed to conserve anything.

Let ACA crater by not propping it up with Fed funds that increase the national debt.
The fines that the younger peeps are paying for not enrolling are not sustaining it.

Who pays?

How much?

Who dies?
Why?

Costs and availability.
Address those.

Major changes pretty much mean repeal it, it's a nonsensical alternative where all the benefits are kept but no one has to pay for it.

The reality of that poll is 86 percent repeal.
