Even staunch conservatives like Cruz and Paul are getting bombarded at town halls because people were promised a repeal and we're not getting one.

we have been winning elections on this issue since it passed

The way you had it worded it in your original 1st post is misleading

Congress persons don't write legislation. Lobbyists do. That's why we get legislation that helps lobbyists' clients and not the American people. This country is for sale and the American people don't have the resources to out bid multinationals, big banks, big insurance, pharmaceuticals, defense contractors, NGOs, etc. That is the problem.

I don't know what to do about it.

Even after trump showed them how to win, republicans are constantly trying to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. It's no wonder they have failed to conserve anything.

Let ACA crater by not propping it up with Fed funds that increase the national debt.
The fines that the younger peeps are paying for not enrolling are not sustaining it.

Major changes pretty much mean repeal it, it's a nonsensical alternative where all the benefits are kept but no one has to pay for it.

The reality of that poll is 86 percent repeal.
