USA sent 101st Airborne Brigade aka Screaming Eagles to base in Romania near Ukraine border “ready to fight tonight”. Now NATO is building a base the size of a city. Pentagon is sending a signal to Russia that the US is prepared to do something if needed.

Isn't this base in Constanta? Not exactly "on the border" with Russia/Ukraine, at least no more so than our bases in Poland or Lithuania.

Isn’t the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) a United States Army DIVISION, not a brigade? You know WW2, Normandy, Market Garden, Bastogne; Vietnam, Central Highlands, Northern I Corps.

It is the 3rd BCT from the 101st. They replaced the 1st BCT in November 2023

If this kicks off, nukes will fly. The 101st will go through the Russian Army like shite through a goose. Putin will have no choice but to withdraw or go nuclear. I don't see him withdrawing.
