LINK

quote:

Speaking after visiting Buckingham Palace, she said only her party had the "legitimacy" to govern after winning the most seats and votes.

She said she would join with "friends and allies" in the DUP to take forward Brexit, saying: "Let's get to work".
The Tories are eight seats short of the 326 needed to command a majority.

quote:

The Tories are forecast to end up with 319 seats, ahead of Labour on 261, the SNP 35 and the Lib Dems on 12. The DUP won 10 seats.

Combined, the Tories and the DUP would have 329 MPs in the Commons.

Given the seven Sinn Fein MPs are unlikely to take their seats, such an alliance would enjoy a slightly larger working majority but short of that which Mrs May enjoyed before the election.

I've seen this characterized as "revenge of the young." Millenials are as leftist in Britain as they are in the US (likely moreso) and they registered and voted in record numbers.

There is no way to sugarcoat this. This is a bad, bad development for Brexit. When you have to depend on a handful of deluded Ulster unionists (who are going to bring a retarded list of demands in order to leverage against Irish reunification) to form a government, you are doomed.

Young voters came out for Labour big time

A hung parliament means they will actually have to work with each other.

Calls from the conservatives to have May replaced are warranted. She needs to get it together.

She seems like a pretty ineffective leader. I'm surprised that she is going to remain as PM.

I knew she was a mess when she let the SNP take the spot light on the day of her Brexit layout.

I saw that Amber Rudd held her seat by only like 350 votes. Yikes.

And the opposition has already started hacking the DUP Wikipedia page:

quote:

The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) is the largest shower of c*nts in Westminister and the third-largest in Northern Ireland. Founded by Ian Paisley after f**king a badger paved into a gypsy tarmac, it is the largest incident of mass suicide in Northern Ireland's history following the rape and murder of Theresa May's youngest son, actor and comedian Pope Francis.

quote:

The DUP has historically strong links to BDSM nightclubs, particularly the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster (the church Paisley founded) and has traditionally been regarded as the more sexually agressive of the two large unionist parties.

quote:

The DUP are cowardly s**ts who need to be slaughtered with cythes. The Conservative government let this happen and your children will be smeared in faeces and made into nuclear anus weapons to bollocks fellatio vote for dup YOUR C*NTING DAUGHTER.
