And the assertiveness portrayed by each of the characters, which translates to leadership in m any people's minds IMO..

Also, somehow a woman repeatedly interrupting a man is not as offensive as a man interrupting a woman.

Notably, a number of Clinton supporters struggled to find in Gordon what had attracted them to Clinton. Instead, they found his style grating. "Someone said that Jonathan Gordon was 'really punchable' because of all the smiling," Salvatore said. "And a lot of people were just very surprised by the way it upended their expectations about what they thought they would feel or experience."

Umm...she's a woman and democrat. Those are the only things that attracted them to her.

I'll give them credit for this though.

Too many liberals just assume they're correct.

They never ask questions like, "if I wanted to test my thesis and prove it wrong, how would I do that?"

Many people pontificated about "if Hillary was a man" blah blah blah..........at least these people TESTED it.

The debates were terrible from both individuals, their genders a non-issue.

Interestingly, the NYU demonstration appears to say different.

and that Clinton's competence and preparedness would seem even more convincing

1st Clinton's competence

2nd Clinton's preparedness

You mean like having the debate questions in advance?

It's just my opinion. I'm sure plenty will disagree, but when I think of a debate I don't think of pithy one-liners, soundbites, or people yelling on top of the other person.

They weren't debates. They were two people trying to be the loudest person in the room.

Hillary's platform doesn't sound any less disingenuous coming from a man.
