Donald J. Trump ? @realDonaldTrump
We will immediately repeal and replace ObamaCare - and nobody can do that like me. We will save $'s and have much better healthcare!

quote:

Feb. 22, 2016, at a campaign rally:

“Obamacare is going to be repealed and replaced. … You’re going to end up with great health care for a fraction of the price and that’s gonna take place immediately after we go in. Okay? Immediately. Fast. Quick.”

quote:

“When we win on Nov. 8 and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. We have to do it.....And we will do it, and we will do it very, very quickly. It is a catastrophe.”

quote:

The president-elect, addressing reporters at a news conference in New York, said his administration will submit a plan to repeal and replace the law, known as Obamacare, “almost simultaneously, shortly thereafter” his pick for secretary of Health and Human Services, Rep. Tom Price, is confirmed.

quote:

“Obamacare is a disaster. It will be repealed and replaced as sure as you’re sitting there. Repealed and replaced. Thank you. And we will have alternatives that will be so good, that’s so much less expensive. So much better. You will actually be able to keep your doctor and to have your plan.” [Tampa, FL, 3/14/16]

quote:

“We are going to repeal and replace Obamacare which is a total catastrophe. You are going to have great health insurance.” [Milwaukee, WI, 4/4/16]

Hadn't been immediate, but until he's gone it won't ever stop being something they are working for.

With the repeal only option on the table, especially if it passes, replace will become a lot more viable

Trump isn't the roadblock to getting Obamacare repealed, the cuckservatives in Congress are to thank for that.

look, i don't think the Republicans have a shot in hell of passing this thing, and they'd better hope they actually don't, but it's a little too early for a victory lap, bro....

and instead of gloating this piss poor "win", perhaps we could try to figure out a way to elect better representatives, who maybe, just maybe, will actually give a frick about their constituents, rather than their career in politics...

So it won't be immediately. TRUMP still has 8 years left to get it repealed.

And now we can push for repeal and no replace!

You voted for BHO so he could give you Obamacare. Now you're triggered that Trump hasn't saved you from it.

Maximum trigger achieved.

or maybe the left could lend a hand in fixing this now, you know at the possibility of easing American suffering? Of course you may not win all the elections mid term, so I can see why fricking over America is so damn important

Then the right will block. Wash rinse repeat

But why can't Trump make one of his famous deals to get it done?

Because he's dealing with The Swamp and it sounds like this thing will die on its own even if TRUMP does nothing.

i'm not as "evil" as i was made out to be at first....

i told you i'm an independent... i'm liberal on some issues, and conservative on others....

one thing i'm adamant about though is that both parties are terrible...

I know you idiots think he is literally hitler, but remember there are three branches of government.

The establishment republicans have been preaching repeal and replace for 7 years.

He had legitimate reason to think it would get repealed and replaced the first time around.
