Turkish Body Guards for Erdogan attacked American protestors in Washington DC and they have the audacity to tell us our security was unprofessional for defending our people? Frick Turkey.
Fox News: LINK
Yeah, maybe don't come to America and attack our citizens who choose to excercise their constitutional rights. Sorry our country isn't a sham democracy with a dictator president. This is America, not Turkey.

The U.S. ambassador in Ankara was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey said, over what it called "aggressive and unprofessional actions" by U.S. security personnel against Turkish bodyguards in Washington during President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit last week.

Two Turkish bodyguards were briefly detained after the incident. They were later set free and returned to Turkey.
quote:
The Turkish ambassador should be "thrown the hell out of Washington," Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) told "Fox News Sunday."
quote:
"We did call the ambassador of Turkey into the State Department to discuss what occurred with them and express our view that this is simply unacceptable," Tillerson revealed.

Between this, the recent referendum, and their insisting on referring to the Kurds as terrorists, I vote sanctions.

I'd like to know what the protestors did/said to warrant the attack

frick it, at this point we should just give the Kurds non-man portable SAMs- next time the Turks try to do a little village bombing they get a surprise.

It was probably something related to the genocide of Armenians decades ago.

It's just been revoked.

If the protesters didn't physically initiate the contact then there was nothing they did to warrant that crap. The Turks need to understand how our laws protect free speech in this country. Antifa and libs need to remember it to because it reminds me of how they treat conservatives.

FIFY, since it applies to ANTIFA in Cali, Wash. St., Chicago, NYC, D.C., etc..
Except ICE reserves the right to summon illegals to be deported. Besides, Turkey is strategically important to our military unlike Mexico.

But it looks like they basically checked with Erdogan if he wanted them to go frick them up, got the approval to atk and ran across the street to assault them.

Watching the video, we are lucky a bodyguard didn't pull a gun when the DC cops were restraining them.
Such a shameful display by the Turks.

I mean, we joke about that and all. But the court system in America has done a good job of halting his abuses of power so far. He isn't a dictator.
