Tucker has a lawyer on his show calling for limits on magazines and bump stocks ban.

This lady, Avery Gardiner is from the Brady Campaign, she wants a bump stock ban and magazine capacity limits. She is also putting some of the onus for these mass killings on the NRA's back. I think she would allow weapons used for hunting and that's about it.
No easy way forward on this gun control issue, we all know people that want to cause great harm and carnage will find a way to get it done. Paddock had the materials for a large fertilizer explosive. He may have decided to forego the bomb in favor of the automatic weapons because he was able to get his hotel suites setup for the attack.
I don't know, society is becoming increasingly violent and pathetic, I'm seriously thinking about moving to the hills, unplug/isolate myself from this madness as soon as I'm able. Family and close friends will be good enough for me for social purposes.

Tucker setting her up to tear her apart. That's his usual method.

absolutely false. you just hear about everything now a days. 50 years ago were you hearing about murders across the country? or attacks across the globe? nope. you just hear about it more now than you used to. does not mean that the world is more violent today than it ever has been

This is the problem with giving an inch.
As soon as you say you will entertain this..
they will ask for this..

This
Evil and violent tendencies for some have been around for as long as life has been on this orb rotating through the Milky Way. An Inconvenient Truth but history proves that there have always been those who terrorize others and take advantage of those who cannot defend themselves. From before humans created societies through the present day, things like this have happened and will continue to happen until humans are no longer. Then the scavengers will fight over our bones.
A ban on magazines and bump stocks will not stop the next person who wants to do evil.
Prayers sent for all who were affected by this tragedy.

I wish I could bump all the crime threads from when Obama was President. The country was "falling apart with more and more criminals every day".
Trump becomes President. All of sudden the stats already presented and dismissed now mean something.

Society has always been violent. You have the same chance of getting mugged on the way home today as getting stabbed on the aventine in Ancient Rome. Violence is nothing new to humanity
ETA: you probably had a better chance getting stabbed back then honestly. Society is pretty tame compared to those days

The day I started this OP I was not in the mood to discuss/defend my assertion concerning the increase of violence in society. I should have taken the time to and been more specific about the violence I'm referring to.
Violent crime in the US (murder) has statistically fallen over the over the past 50 yrs. Shocking mass murder/shootings like Las Vegas, Columbine, Sandy Hook, Pulse Nightclub, San Bernardino, Dallas Police, Fort Hood, Va Tech, etc. have increased over the past 50 yrs.
It's still unlikely that myself or anyone I know would be involved in a mass shooting but the more you participate in public events that draw large crowds, the more you are increasing your potential exposure to a mass murder/shooting. These are the opportunities these sick sonsabitches are targeting for maximum terror.
I've feared and believed for quite some time that locations/venues with a mass gathering of people would become the targets of these sick people. These sick people would include mentally ill/deranged and religious fanatics. I have no solutions, more people are becoming mentally fragile and it appears people are slipping into homicidal madness at an ever increasing rate.
The statement I made about selling my home and moving deep into the Ozark Hills to get away from all the societal madness was somewhat of a knee jerk reaction due to the Las Vegas shooting, but this crazy shite makes me want to find a place of peace and quiet when I retire. Deep in the Ozark Hills......, it does sound very peaceful.
I live back in the woods, you see
A woman and the kids, and the dogs and me
I got a shotgun rifle and a 4-wheel drive
And a country boy can survive
Country folks can survive.
