What exactly are you expecting? A signed affidavit by Obama saying he's authorizing a wiretap of Trump associates the month before the election?

Pointing out the obvious bias is bitching? I'm fine with that.

Even if they released the FISA application it wouldn't have a direct tie to Obama.

He is the President of the United States of America. I know that refuse to face that fact, but on Jan. 20th he became the President. Now are you trying to tell me that the President of the United States of America doesn't have any inside information?
I keep seeing people running with the "Trump doesn't have decent sources" angle and I just thought they were kidding until recently. I may not have gotten an A in my civics class but from what I recall the President is a well connected guy and has considerable resources.

quote:

The first warrant application was made in June 2016, according to reports published by The New York Times and elsewhere, but was rejected due to the lack of probable cause of criminal activity. When the request was denied in regular federal court, Obama and his Justice Department attempted an “end around” by citing the existence of a “foreign actor” and made a similar surveillance warrant application through the more specialized Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court in October of 2016. According to published reports, that warrant application was rejected as well, a rare occurrence in the FISA venue, which strengthens claims that no evidence of any foreign involvement ever existed. It has been reported that the initial warrant application to the FISA court specifically named Donald J. Trump.

quote:

Apparently undeterred, the Obama Justice Department submitted yet another application to the FISA court, this time omitting the name of Donald J. Trump and submitting it as a FISA specific case. The FISA court reportedly approved the application under the new and more narrow scope. Specifically, ties to two Russian banks: Russia’s SV bank and Alfa Bank. The alleged target was a computer server reportedly situated inside the Trump Tower. Based on the lack of action consequential to that warrant and wiretap, it has been stated (and can be reasonably determined) that no actionable evidence was found. Shortly before leaving office, Obama expanded the power of the National Security Agency (NSA) as detailed in the unclassified document titled Procedures for the Availability or Dissemination of Raw Signals Intelligence Information by the National Security Agency (NSA). As detailed in that document, limitations were changed on what the NSA could do with the information they collected through their surveillance operations. These changes effectively relaxed the restrictions on the dissemination of information collected on private citizens by broadening the access to such information. It is also notable that on January 3, 2017, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch signed off on rule changes for phone taps.

You mean the "real journalist" from CNN and MSNBC who colluded with Hillary? You mean like real facts like we have seen on the Trump/Russia connection? Ive seen more evidence and exact dates in two days in this wiretapping claim than I have seen in two months regarding the Trump/Russia connection.

Your post was a deflection.

You're bitching about CNN using non-verifiable sources, but have no problem when donald trump uses zero sources? Why?

If Obama really did order a wiretap of Trump before taking office, it really wouldn't be that hard for Trump to come out and give us the actual evidence. But I have a feeling that isn't going to happen.

Trump might decide to use the info as leverage to keep the Obama people currently in office under control.

What source did he use? Can you link the source? I'll then provide my advice.

Both sides are using "anonymous sources." I think they are saying that and then just making shite up on the fly. DC is a mess.

What source did trump use? He didn't provide any. We suspect it was Breitbart.

Regardless, this thread is about trump not providing any sources or evidence for his claim. You didn't discuss that, but instead said that CNN does the same thing.

Is this supposed to be a good thing for the president, that he's engaging in similar practices as the media you all love to hate?

Read your first sentence again. Then reconsider if you should be attempting to educate anyone.

And are you really saying the President of the United States does not have inside information?

You aren't the brightest bulb.

Breitbart that sourced the New York Times and the Guardian. Why do you ignore that fact?
