Hitching his wagon to Paul Ryan's plan. This was not a good bill. Ryan is a very weak speaker. The way this was rolled out by Ryan was a disaster. This should have been worked out and consensus achieved and presented as a United front. His days as speaker may be numbered. This is going to leave wounds and fracture among the Repubs in Congress. Trump needs to remember what got him elected and who supported him. Ryan and his Better Way are not the path Trump needs to follow.

Using this logic if it was a bill that was far right like the freedom caucus wanted then it still wouldn't have gotten the votes due to the moderate conservatives.

I expected you to be the first one to show up to defend that Cuck Ryan. You usually do. He is a terrible Speaker.

Uh....Republicans have been screaming at the top of their lungs for the last 7 years "Repeal and Replace or The Republic will Die"!

Now they have the presidency, the House and the Senate and what do they do? They frick it up. Royally. Not only did their bill not pass, but their bill was literally worse than Obamacare. How do you even do that after a 7 year head start?

Also, they gave up...what...30 whole days into the process? They don't want to fix health care. They just want to bitch about it. The whole "being accountable" part is to icky.

Very true.

The Democrats didn't have to worry about that, because if Obamacare wasn't a disaster they get credit for doing well and when it fails they get single payer which is the control over people they truly lust for.

If Obamacare is so terrible, why is it so hard to improve upon it (after 7 years)?

You can't have it both ways.

Because the bill did not go far enough?
Are you under the impression that it was moderates that cost this vote?

How do you do that after 7 years? Seriously?

I know the ACA has major problems that need to be addressed. Adults could address them, but that's not what we have.

What we do have is 1 party who controls both houses and the presidency. There is no excuse. This was a rush-job shite-show push by Trump so he could quickly get his headline. But like the Muslim ban take 1, it was poorly put together. That's what happens when you elect people who don't know what they're doing.

Haha, look around genius

I think I've said one positive thing about Ryan today, and that's when he basically blamed himself and the party for failure.

It's not so much about defending Ryan as it is about pointing out grown men who are absolutely owned by and beholden to another man they've never met.

He tried to rush things and thought he could force it to pass and deal with the turd parts in the senate.

He overestimated how much of a gaping pussy Ryan is.

If you want to call it the "Ryan Bill" that's fine. But have you been calling it Pelosi-care over the past 7 years?
