Lol, budget kills people and health plan increases old people's premiums by a gazillion percent. Seems legit

Rich and middle class people take care of each other all the time. Pretty much all doctors are rich or middle class. Why don't the poor have poor doctors to take care of themselves?

As an insurance rep who deals wholly in Medicare, the ACA didn't effect Medicare one iota, and neither will Trump's healthcare plan. Ignorance is bliss. Medicare is some of the best insurance a person will ever have in their life. The only people who suffer under medicare are people who haven't worked at least 40 quarters of their lives (10 years).

Where was the outrage when younger people were seeing their premiums skyrocket?

My premiums have gone up about 40% since Obamacare was enacted. But at least I'm covered well in case I need birthing coaches or a hearing aid

This is so simple to solve

Build a clinic in every county in America. Employ doctors and nurses who agree to work for lower wages in return for free schooling.

Income based fees. Including free for the truly poor.

and do away with both Medicaid and Medicare altogether.

Under the AHCA as proposed, 33% of the population would see a 20% decrease in policy costs. An additional 50% would see a 5% decrease. Most of the remainder would see no change. So 80% would enjoy cost decreases.

I don't get why older people are a protected class of people in this country. Older people have done a really shitty job of running this country. They've spent all their money and want to spend their grandkids' money too. Here's an idea. Why don't you just pay for what you can afford and not steal from other people.

Sounds good, unless you apply a single shred of logic.

If older, poor Americans can not afford insurance, they need to get a job. Pizza Hut is looking for drivers in Jackson.

Yeah, because nothing can go wrong hiring a country full of 85 year old pizza drivers.

You responded to someone advocating against taking care of any old people with government money.

Either way, Pizza Hut is not going to be anywhere close to enough income to pay for this shitbag of a healthcare bill from Republicans.

But I get the sentiment, classic "Compassionate Conservatism." I.E.: I got mine, frick you.

Just seeking clarification on where you all got the information? I read it multiple times and couldn't find it.

You agreed with him, seems you must of looked into it as well?

I mean you aren't telling me you just replied to his post because it felt good and you didn't actually verify its veracity?

No shame in your socialist preference. Own it.

Don't give me any moral argument in this thread. It was a troll from the beginning. Op posts an article link and then disappears.

He's a troll. I could get into this with you and others but this thread was meant to be shite and is shite.

This place sucks. It's either crying " I hate Trump I hate Trump" or the exact opposite. The only things discussed are health care costs ideas and only by a few that don't troll those threads. We both know it.

Has always been my thoughts as well. Since it's GOV run, you know the retirement package will attract some decent DRs. And make NP's do most of the work.

Then we can go back to normal insurance for the rest of us.
