How about,this project replaces"cash for clunkers"? Definitely has more upside.
Also,if you have more people working,and paying taxes= more money flowing,it's easier to work out and plan budgets.

America will be so great when the government has control over all the resources on mars. They will be distributed fairly, of that I am certain. Cannot WAIT to see my mars tax on ciggs and beer. To make room in the budget for other bullshite, like catering to the lazy portion of our population. Basically throwing money away that should have been used for good.
There is a segment of the workforce that made a living on NASA running full force. From engineers and scientists all the way down to vendors and suppliers.
That was just another piece of the country's unemployment puzzle. Just so that Joe Blow could get a free cell phone and sit on his arse on his couch instead of working.
