So much for that Led Zeppelin reunion. Thanks a lot Trump.

Wouldn't surprise me if the idea was floated hoping that the Admin would say yes, then they could turn it down and the news stories would say "Band Turns Down $1 Million to Play for Trump!"

It had to be the Stones, he has already got the MTC

I wish uncle Ted Nugent were asked.

The President-elect reportedly shut down negotiations to get a major rock band to perform at one of the inaugural balls — a group that is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — after learning they wanted more than $1 million, TMZ reports. The future POTUS instructed the committee to keep costs down, according to the gossip site, so that left over money from the Inaugural affair could go to charity.
Say whatever bullshite you want about xenophobia and racism.
This shite right here is the reason I voted for Trump.

I doubt it was the stones, they would command more than $1M for a performance. We paid pearl jam $750k to play at our conference.

They just cant see through a few rude tweets and some fake arse news to notice that he's been doing some pretty good things.
Using his bully pulpit to bring tens of thousands of jobs back before he's even POTUS
Meeting with leaders in the AA community to get serious about helping these communities
Meeting with titans of american industry to share ideas on rebuilding our economy
Raising record inaugural cash then donating it to charities
Appointing a mix of dems, reps, pols, private sector, and military folks of all races and genders to his cabinet.
Hell, he even seems to be wide open on potential solutions for the healthcare problem (much to the chagrin of hard line conservatives)
The media wont give him credit, but he is off to great start.

TRUMP isn't going to let the entertainment industry blackmail the taxpayers!

Rush paid 1M to Elton John to play at his wedding reception. Elton had to back out of a contract in Serbia. They were only gonna pay him 300K.

It's probably a once thriving band now down on its luck.
Van Halen comes to mind.

The media and democraps are obsessed with non A list celebrities going and have even threatened at least two scheduled into not going. They are pathetic. Do they really think that they will somehow win something if Jay Z and Bruce aren't there? No one cares...
Did the Philly concert matter to Obamaer's I mean HRC's re election?
They are like bully sixth graders not wanting the cool kids to go because they are losers.

The probability that this is a made up story leaked to assist Trump with the embarrassment that no notable artist will perform for him is most likely close to 100%
