This thread started in celebration of Trump, but I get it, "muh ronbots."

Netanyahu was expected to go hat in hand seeking to establish rapport with the new President.

Just as he did with Obama - even with Obama's shadowy past and dubious chronology of highly suspect associations.

Didn't Obama basically say the same thing to him without saying it, by his actions, and proceeded to give Netanyahu a close up look at his approach to international relations, respect, protocols.

When Netanyahu visited the WH for the first time after Obama took office.

Obama left him seated out in the foyer/waiting room for an inordinate amount of time for another country's prime dignitary visiting the new President.

Basically letting him know that "I'm in charge now. Elections have consequences. And in case you don't know, that statue of Churchill doesn't sit too well with me, so its time here is short."

Don't recall many, if any complaints by the Leftist media about the flagrant slight/snub.

I’d say BOTH can be first. The fact that Trump has this “air” about him makes him Trump, his whole persona as a package deal, and by extension causes a lot of would be trouble makers to stand down thus taking care of American interests. I’ve never understood why these two things have to be considered as mutually exclusive when I’d say they are not.
