Are you referring to the Governor who just sent reinforcements to Texas to assist them in securing the border?
Yes hes referring to that Gov who backed down after promising not to

The responses to this thread remind me of the 2022 midterms.
Basically, “Look around you! Everything is on fire! Inflation out of control, the border out of control, a recession is imminent. How could anyone vote the Dems!?”
And we all know how that turned out.
Trump has a suburb problem. Until Republicans accept this fact, you can’t fix it.
There are three threads a day about getting the black vote, but nothing about trying to bring suburban women on board which is MUCH easier to accomplish.

Biden/DNC has MUCH and is already buying up all available ad space from September to November.

Biden's campaign ended the year with $46 million in cash, far more than the $33 million Trump's campaign held before the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary. Future Forward, the main super PAC backing Biden, held a little bit more in the bank than MAGA Inc., $24 million to $23.3 million, at the end of the year.

If Trump is convicted on ANY of the felony charges levied against him, but particularly those related to the Jan 6 riots, his support with independent and undecided voters will plummet to previously unfathomed depths.
Of course Nikki Haley would, in ordinary election cycles, be the default fallback choice for Republican voters, but these are queer times, indeed.

Fixed it for you. Trump and the Republicans lost the suburbs in 2018, 2020 and 2022 mostly on the backs of unmarried women professionals, voters largely residing in suburbs of major American cities.
The Dobbs decision added gasoline to a rage fire already ignited by restrictions to womens' reproductive rights and healthcare. This has become a prime talking point for Texas Senate candidate Colin Allred, who's closing the polling gap with Ted Cruz, like a VISE.

You aren’t winning unmarried professional women. But you should wreck shop on married women and those suburban women are the ones who didn’t show up in 2020 and 2022. You get those suburban moms to the polls and you win the election. That is the counter to the urban voting machine.

Nobody on the right side will ever carry them; they see the government as their caretaker and provider since they couldn't land one.
