Trump signs sanctions against Russia as punishment for election meddeling

Congress passed the bill by veto-proof margins, bigly.
If Trump had vetoed the bill, he would have just added evidence that there was an agreement with Russia of some kind and then congress would have overridden his veto so he would have lost TWICE.

agree.
He had to sign this. And yesterday they floated that maybe he wasn't going to sign it, and there was immediate pushback on it.

not a big fan of this at all, not a fan of russia either but these sanctions really make no sense at the end of the day. You're going to hurt other countries besides Russia, so what is the use.. If the GOPe and Dems want to go to war with Russia just tell us so we can get rid of them. It shows how foolish our leaders are thinking these sanctions do any good....
