The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!

Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!

These snowflakes better apologize right now.

Would they have treated him this way if he wanted to buy a cake they were selling?

Let them freaking melt. The true minority are these selfish, self-absorbed assholes. Let them laugh at us, let them harass us... meanwhile, we just control the White House, Senate, House of Representatives, majority of Governorships and state legislatures... and coming to a democracy near you, the SUPREME COURT. Let 'em melt, let 'em scream... it's the sound of extinction.

I agree that it's fun watching them melt, but the open disrespect and death threats on social media is getting absurd.

If you mean one of the most groundbreaking musicals to come out in decades, sure

Anyway, if this is the extent of what happened: LINK

I'm really not sure what everyone is bitching about.

It is absurd. And the media is allowing and encouraging it. Very disturbing.

Safe place? So alpha!

It was rude, but I thought we were all about politically incorrect behavior?

Black Hamilton is as "groundbreaking" in the same way Birth of a Nation was. Racists are all the same..deluded by their own sense of superiority.
Sad, really. Just my opinion, others may feel differently.

For those allergic to links, these are the statements I'm finding:

quote:

As the play ended, the actor who played Aaron Burr, Brandon Victor Dixon, acknowledged that Mr. Pence was in the audience, thanked him for attending and added, “We hope you will hear us out.” “We, sir — we — are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights,” he said. “We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf all of us.”

Are you telling me that Trump is asking for a "safe space" to shield a grown man from that? Or is he asking for an apology from the cast because some in the audience booed him?

Or again, is there something I'm missing?

That was disrespectful as frick and in poor taste is what we are "bitching about"

Not sure what else to expect from people that turned Hamilton into a ghetto rap experience, though.

I've seen a bootleg video recording three? times and listened to the soundtrack many, many times. I've about as familiar with it as an individual can be without having actually seen it in person (once the original cast left, I didn't think it was worth it to pay the premium over face value when I could just wait for prices to come back to Earth).
