The mud is flying around and providing insight into the three main candidates. Mo Brooks is the ONLY proven conservative.

Katie Britt? Really? Proven DC Insider who will turn her back on almost every campaign promise. Her campaign spokeman, Sean Ross, formerly ran Yellowhammer News, who is an ongoing campaign newspaper for her. However, they did let Mo submit an opinion piece and if you are thinking about her, you need to read it ...

And then we have Mike Durant. Has anybody found out why he ran? Serious question ... I don't know. But, i have read enough now to be VERY concerned. With that said, if he wins, he can be defeated later. If Katie Britt wins, she will be there as long as Shelby and Alabama will NEVER see a 2nd Conservative Senator in DC.

With all that said, I am not a big Brooks fan. BUT, I've taken the time over the years to look at his voting record and he votes the "right" way almost all of the time. There have been a few times when Palmer and Brooks did not vote the same, and I would have loved to have heard them discuss those votes.

But I digress ... There is only ONE sure conservative in the Alabama Senate race and that is MO BROOKS.

I’m in Alabama visiting in laws this weekend and the campaign ads are so cringe, especially the Ivey governor one. Why is Brooks disliked in bama? Britt is literally just trying to get rich she’s bought and paid for

Likely. He's phenomenally bad at evaluating a selecting political appointments so I wouldn't shock me if he sucked at picking endorsements as well.

The fact that the man had as much success as he did after picking historically bad appointees, would make me wonder.

You're right. It's Mo Brooks or a mistake.

I don;t let others think for me ... like many Always Trumpers that think he is never wrong. Do your homework and think for yourself.

Ivey is proof people don't think for themselves. She was lock and Step with the CDC .... signed the Gas tax without the Will of the people... Alabama is near last in education ... yet she is at 46% in the polls.

Trump helped a Democrat win Alabama …so…at least a RINO helps us keep it 50/50 (well- 50/48 bc of those two non Dems who caucus with the Dems) .:::Trump sucks with his endorsements

This is nothing new. Trump loaded his administration with cold-blooded swamp reptiles. It was perhaps his greatest failing as President.

Absolutely untrue. The reigning Repube establishment in Washington (and it’s satraps in the Alabama Repube establishment) did that.

He needs to hire someone that can help him decide his picks. Trump has weaknesses and this is one of them. I believe he wants his picks to be well known instead of taking more of unknown picks who aren't career politicians.

Trump lost credibility with me dropping Brooks.

He rails against the chamber of commerce, makes endless noise about McConnell and his faction and is debating backing their paid puppets just because they're up in polls and he doesn't want to look bad.

He's making himself part of the problem.

He does have a problem with his picks but the established Rinos makes his talent pool small.

he endorsed the "right" candidate the first time. But, he is a little sensitive and his feelings got hurt and now he has one bad candidate and one questionable candidate running 1 & 2.
