Czech billionaire Andrej Babis won a thumping victory in Saturday's election as voters shunned traditional parties and gave a mandate to the anti-establishment businessman

Bulgaria's Veselin Mareshki

Geert Wilders

Boris Johnson

Jacinda Ardern

Even Abe (Japan) ran on a more populist platform.

But what about "we are the world", "give everyone a coke and a hug and a smile and teach them to sing", and all that other feel good stuff...

It's a natural reaction to decades of monopolistic power. The pendulum is swinging away from big state deification.

I've never understood why the globalist/progressive crowd thinks this is a bad thing.

Also, why should I care about what's happening in Mexico when the US has millions of problems to take care of with it's own citizens?

Trump really perfected the playbook in his win. Good to see others have taken notice.

There is a lot of nationalism around the world outside of the elite that want the global community to act as one. Nothing wrong with being proud of wherever you come from and wanting to protect your country's heritage. Not racist despite what these liberal fricks keep saying.

Because in their eyes, we have it too good and we should lower our status in order to raise their status and meet somewhere in the middle... our "problems" are first world problems in their eyes...

Only problem is, I dont see any of them willing to lower their own personal standards...

Western leaders have been far too eager to atone for their past sins and really pushed their leftist ideology that demands that they feed, clothe, and house everyone from around the world. It's not sustainable. Also, when you essentially tell your own people that refugees or the interest of other countries (EU trade deals) take priority over citizens, you're going to piss people off. European socialism is a crumbling experiment and yet another example of the law of unintended consequences that constantly follows progressive policies.
