Why?

If they're in contact with people violating their security clearances, those people aren't immune from being caught.

Because I believe that Obama's attack on the press was very much unconstitutional, and I don't want to see Trump repeat that mistake. One president exceeding his authority can be called out for the failure it is. Consecutive presidents from different parties doing so would establish a pattern that would be very difficult to overturn.

And to clarify, I have no problem with trump calling the press out for blatant dishonesty, we're clearly at a point in time when we need it. And I've got no problem with him going after the leakers, that's part of his job. But even still, that's very, very different from what Obama has done
