This has been law for 20 years. Who isn't informing our President of such simple things?

Kinda like there's a federal law against pot?

Kinda like the laws on immigration?

Kinda like that? You know laws liberals ignore and refuse to enforce? Yea, he's going to go ahead and recognize those laws.

From one naturalized citizen to another, My family also came here and took no government assistance, none. My father went to work 2 weeks after we arrived with nothing except a large crate of personal belongings. It never occurred to my parents to even ask for assistance, let alone take it. They had some friends who helped my dad get a driver's license (so he could drive to work) and pointed him toward a good used car, but other than that it was good old-fashioned work ethic.

This bs of people coming here and being given benefits, without having contributed to the system in any way, has got to go.

You keep trying to make an argument against the President and you keep failing. Miserably! Time to cut your losses.

I'd love an Escalade. Not likely to be able to afford one 'cause we don't qualify for food stamps. Bummer deal!

Sounds like a failure of Congress, not Trump.

What has Congress done since January? I honestly can't think of a single thing of any significance.

Wait! Your dad needed help getting a DL? Was he undocumented? Is he an illegal immigrant?

So case study for you Apu:

Gentleman comes to the us from South America on a full scholarship to a top 20 university. Earns a PhD from a top 5 program. Becomes naturalized and works hard, successful career, pays taxes, along the way develops Alzheimer's and becomes unable to work. Under your theory this person who has contributed more than you ever will should not receive benefits?

You sir are a dumbass

Why are you inflating such a remote example? For every one of those examples, there are thousands of illegal immigrants coming into this country for the hope of getting federal benefits eventually and sending money back to their family. When my parents immigrated here, the focus was on work and education visas. The focus of immigration wasn't on taking people from a shite country for the sake of pity. frick off with that nonsense.

And word of advice for you. Immigrants like my dad don't like the stereotypical jokes like "Apu" gets. But what really grinds their gears is people like you telling them what they need.

Leftists really hate when someone who they think should be a member of their tribe goes off the reservation. You can see a really nasty side of them, and that includes some good old-fashioned racism.
