He said it was the 'only way you're going to remove the hundreds of thousands of people, and maybe throughout our nation millions of people,' referring to the homeless.
'It can be done in one day,' Trump said.

The homeless live in camps now…in lesser accommodations than what he’s talking about.
Unfortunately they are cluttering up and harming areas that productive members of society inhabit. This makes tons of sense.

I always thought San Francisco should round up all the homeless and put them on Alcatraz. They aren't using it anyway.

Have you seen the current homeless camps? Our homeless live in worse conditions than the 'caged' illegals lived in after they got caught crossing the border.

Homeless already congregate into homeless "encampments" - these would the most luxurious homeless accommodations on the planet. Trump Camps.
He's engaging in hyperbole, but obviously if one does the math and considers primarily stimulant (cocaine, meth) and opioid pushers, certainly one can argue that killing these people result in other people who would otherwise overdose staying alive.
