No, Mr. Chaffetz, … the problem is you and your colleagues on both sides of the aisle . You no longer get to pretend that you have the taxpayer in mind as legislative priorities are currently conducted.
The gradual erosion of ethics and the increasing lack of accountability in Congress is stunning. It has now become little more than a personal money grab before the roof is on fire.
Time for taxpayers to hold public officials accountable for their irresponsible spending …..

Holy shite, does this idiot seriously have ZERO recollection of what Gowdy actually accomplished???
He was really good at grandstanding behind the podium and then looking all weird and shiny while grandstanding during his Faux News appearances, but he accomplished NOTHING.
Just, wow.
Full disclosure, Gowdy was a pretty damn strong prosecutor before his political career. Unfortunately, he (like so many others) immediately became swamp the moment his plane touched down in D.C.
I have always suspected that there are some incriminating photos out there being held over him.
