Tomorrow is the deadline for the Dakota Access protesters to leave the site

But of course they won't leave, so hopefully we'll get some tv coverage of hippies being cuffed and stuffed.
Sounds like the protesters don't even care if they drown in the process.

Several hundred activists protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline are under a court order to leave by Wednesday the construction site they've occupied since last year.
Protesters at the North Dakota camp, which is near the Missouri River, seemed unfazed by threats of arrest.

The holdouts seem as undeterred by the threat of the Missouri River flooding their campsite this spring as they are of being arrested Wednesday.

Yea I was really turned off by the whole movement when I saw the amount of garbage and the fact that the runoff from that camp is going to pollute the river this spring.

The area has become strewn with garbage, and local police fear that the debris and snow may be covering the bodies of protesters who succumbed to the harsh conditions. Over the last several days authorities have searched the camp for human remains.
More than 200 truckloads of debris have been hauled out of the campsite since Monday, according to the office of North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum. The cleanup will occur after 2 p.m., local time, Wednesday, when the remaining protesters will be moved from the camp.
I bet it does stink if there are dead hippies in that dump.

I'm sure the live ones smell just as bad.

Use CS gas immediately. Cut to the chase. Avoid all of the superfluous yelling and shooting the "bird" at the cops.
Announce on loudspeakers that they have five minutes to disperse or non-lethal force will be applied.

Protesters that vow to stay are now burning down their camp

They're terrorist and should be treated as such

I quickly learned and saw for myself that this was untrue. The pipeline passes about two miles north of the reservation and that years of archeological study uncovered no significant native historical sites. It is difficult to believe that a single modern pipeline would be more environmentally risky than transporting crude oil by rail or truck through the same territory.

Many media sites reported only that "heavy-handed" police tactics were used upon the protestors who were only praying and "peacefully" protesting. These same outlets failed to mention the shooting, Molotov cocktails, and extensive property and equipment damage produced by some of the protestors. The protestors even cut fences and attempted to induce a domesticated buffalo herd to stampede through the area. The owners of the herd, whom I spoke with personally indicated that at least of dozen of their buffalo were killed by protestors.
